Co-op: An 8-month long opportunity, Co-op positions are a full-time employment experience. Co-ops are fully immersed into the worlds of corporate and production industry as a full-time team member.

Internship: A semester long opportunity, Internships positions are a part-time employment experience. With the opportunity to extend multiple semesters, Interns tap into the foundations of our corporate and production industries.

Co-op and Intern opportunities span across 18 of Bobcat's different functions.

Role & Responsibility
  • Develop embedded software, scripts, and internal utilities using C/C++, C#, Python, Qt, and/or Matlab/Simulink.
  • Create and execute unit, hardware, and on-machine tests to ensure software quality and functionality.
  • Participate in code reviews, manage requirements, and utilize project tracking systems.
  • Operate equipment, construct electrical harnesses, log, and analyze test data
Job Requirement
    • Sophomore, Junior, Senior standing in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, or equivalent
    • 3.0 or higher GPA preferred
    • Be able to commit full-time to Bobcat for the entire term of the co-op (8 months) or internship (4-months)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
    • Communication and collaboration skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
