Job description

Security Site Supervisor - Part Time - Overnight - $21/hr

HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is currently hiring part-time Security Site Supervisors in the Burlington, NJ area for the Third Shift. These positions have a pay rate of $21/hr, with weekly pay. Candidates must have at least three years of supervisory or management experience in security, law enforcement, or the military. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have great customer service and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support security officers assigned to the site to ensure all post are properly staffed and operating efficiently.
  • Ensure all guards follow site procedures including truck check-in/check-out, yard checks, and trailer verification.
  • Conduct routine patrols of the yard, warehouse areas, and gate operations to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound truck traffic and verify load information, trailer numbers, and driver identification when required.
  • Train new security officers on site procedures, post orders, and security systems such as yard management platforms.
  • Maintain accurate reports including incident reports and daily activity reports.
  • Ensure all required logs are completed correctly and submitted on time.
  • Address performance issues and provide coaching, retraining, or corrective action when necessary.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between security staff, site management, and company leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, or security concerns and ensure proper documentation and escalation when necessary.
  • Conduct shift briefings to communicate important updates, safety concerns, and operational changes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and client site rules.
  • Maintain a strong security presence and lead by example to ensure professionalism and accountability across the team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior supervisory experience in security, logistics, or warehouse environments.
  • Experience using Yard view.
  • Strong report writing and communication skills.
  • Comfortable using computers and security management systems

Requirements:

  • Valid SORA License
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Prior security experience
  • Must be able to use a computer to monitor access control, cameras and send emails
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
  • Professional appearance

Schedule:

  • Fri-Sat: 2300-0700

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Shift Supervisor must read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Sun123
