Job Duties
VMI is accepting applications for part-time security officers to supplement the VMI Police. Work hours will be flexible; mostly evenings and nights, approximately 20-30 hours per week. Duties will include patrolling VMI facilities, checking identification cards, and responding to reports of unauthorized or disruptive individuals. The security officers will work closely with the VMI Police Officers. These are part-time hourly positions. Criminal background check required for finalists.
Minimum Qualifications
High school graduate or GED Preferred; good interpersonal skills.
Additional Considerations
Law enforcement experience preferred.
