Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking askilledSenior Engineerto support an innovative program.You will possess deep technical expertise in mission planning, test and evaluation, and advanced technology assessment activities supporting defense-related research and development programs. In this role, you will have experience supporting long range effects initiatives, mission logistics, and complex technical project management efforts. Travel:Some local and domestic travel will be required 2x per quarter.

Clearance: TS/SCI required

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics, Operations, Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in mission planning, test and evaluation, and program security implementation.
  • Experience supporting defense-related technology research and development programs.
  • Experience supporting long range effects initiatives, mission logistics, and complex project management efforts.
  • Proven ability to conduct independent technical assessments, evaluations of alternatives, trade studies, and cost-benefit analyses.
  • Experience supporting technical interchange meetings, working groups, and design reviews.
  • Strong technical leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience authoring technical reports and program briefings.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Desired Experience:

  • Prior experience supporting Department of Defense acquisition or advanced technology development programs.
  • Experience supporting operational planning or mission integration activities.
  • Familiarity with defense research and development processes and technology transition efforts.
  • Experience working within classified or highly sensitive mission environments.
