Civil Engineer (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services Inc.; Deerfield Beach, FL): Execute technical design for Transportation Engineering projects, including the development of horizontal/vertical geometries, temporary traffic control plans (TTCP), 3D modeling for roadway and TTCP phasing, summary of quantities, specification packages, and construction plan sets. Analyze and resolve interdisciplinary design conflicts with drainage, lighting, signals, signing, utilities, and structural elements. Address technical engineering challenges, including review comments, bid inquiries, and compliance with regulatory standards. Prepare engineering drawings, technical reports, memos, and presentations, while contributing to marketing efforts through graphic plots and technical support materials. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.). #LI-DNI #GTM

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience; OR a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, or a related field, and 2 year of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Highway interchange and roadway design projects, including researching, interpreting, and applying engineering design standards and criteria specific to roadway design; Preparing detailed construction cost estimates and performing roadway geometric design (both horizontal and vertical) in accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation standards; Developing 3D models using MicroStation tools and generating roadway cross sections; Calculating construction quantities for roadway-related pay items; and Using MicroStation V8i SS10 and OpenRoads software to produce comprehensive roadway plan sets, including key sheets, signature sheets, plan and profile layout sheets, drainage layout sheets, cross section plan sheets, signing and marking plans, utility plans, erosion control plans, and summary of quantities sheets.
Must have an active U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days a week.
Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 10%.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
