About Us
Podium Education partners with colleges and companies to supercharge the undergraduate degree with skills, experience, and a bridge to a great career. In 2023, Podium was the largest accredited producer of technical talent in the United States. Podium serves a population of over 1,000,000 students across more than 100 of the largest and most well-known universities in the country, including Georgetown, UNC, Harvard, ASU, and Texas A&M. In 2023, Podium acquired Untapped, the leading all in one early career software and talent marketplace, to further our mission of making sure every college student has a path to a great career.
Podium Education programs are offered as online courses within standard university semesters. Through Podium, students gain real-world experience while tackling projects from the world's most recognized brands, such as Spotify, Netflix, Shopify, Uber, Google, and Airbnb. Our flagship program is the Global Career Accelerator (here's an example: https://www.globaltech.asu.edu/about) which runs at 100+ universities around the country.
  • Student Experience - Customer NPS is better than Netflix, Apple, and Amazon.
  • Student Access - Programs are for credit, count towards graduation, and are financial aid eligible.
  • Student Outcomes - Their undergraduate students go on to work at places like JP Morgan, Airbnb, Stripe and Deloitte directly through our careers marketplace.
Podium Education is a privately held Series B company based in Austin, TX with prominent investors, including Sequoia Capital, Owl Ventures, Lumos Capital Group, Learn Capital, Lachy Groom, Goldcrest Capital, and Album VC.
The Role

You'll join a collaborative, high-energy team of instructors and advisors who are deeply committed to student outcomes. Instructors facilitate live, online sessions we call LiveLabs-engaging, high-energy, conference-style experiences with 100-200 students.

What You'll Do
  • Bring Data Analytics to life by incorporating real-world examples into our existing curriculum.
  • Lead one 90-minute LiveLab per week via Zoom for 100-200 students, at the same time each week for 12 weeks, using provided lesson plans and materials. Bring each session to life with clarity, enthusiasm, and a learner-first mindset.
  • Partner with a dynamic teaching team-including Team Leads-to ensure students are learning, growing, and feeling supported.
  • Help students build confidence in their data skills while connecting learning to real-world career outcomes.

What We're Looking For
  • Enthusiasm for supporting students, especially those with non-technical majors learning data for the first time.
  • Experience or comfort teaching with tools like Tableau, Excel, and SQL, AI and covering exploratory data analysis and visualizations.
  • Excellent communication and presence in a live, online classroom-especially with large groups.
  • Education or experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Compensation & Perks
  • $4,000 per semester, with performance-based raises for future terms
  • Additional bonus opportunities tied to student outcomes and feedback
  • Flexible, remote work (~5-7 hours/week)
  • Opportunity to grow with a fast-paced, mission-driven team
  • Join a global, collaborative instructor community making a tangible impact on students' lives
