Job description

Field Technician for Crime Scene, Hoarding & Mold Cleanup
We are looking for a couple more field technicians for bio-hazard, mold & hoarding remediation jobs. Physical labor experience is required.
 
Job includes:
  • Cleaning and disinfecting trauma scenes (e.g., suicide, homicide, decomposition, etc).
  • Clearing out hoarding scenes.
  • Extreme cleaning, this includes scrubbing toilets, sanitizing kitchens etc.
  • Setting up containment barriers.
  • Building materials removal.
  • Remediation of mold.

Physical Demands:
  • This job is not for everyone! Technicians must be capable of lifting heavy items (e.g., furniture, drywall, plaster, etc.) while wearing a hazmat suit and respirator.
  • Filling and hauling 40-gal trash bins up a ladder and yeeting the contents into a dumpster at a fast pace.
  • The ideal candidate will be capable of empathy with clients in minor to severe emotional distress and maintain composure. If you can get comfortable being uncomfortable, you may be able swing it.
  • Candidates who make it through initial training and probation period will be given opportunity to obtain certifications and a pay raise with each passing certification.
 
 Requirements:
  • Must have own transportation and be willing to travel within LA County.
  • We also work outside of LA County so additional travel distance may be required from time to time, with compensation.


Note: The majority of jobs will be in LA County; however, we also cover Fresno, Kern County (i.e. Bakersfield, Lake Isabella, Ridgecrest), Lancaster, Ventura, Tulare etc.
