Applicants will remain in the pool for 12 months. Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: in accordance with Title 5, Section 53412, Minimum Qualifications for Instructors of Noncredit Courses: Bachelor's degree in mathematics. Except as provided elsewhere in this article, the minimum qualifications for service as a faculty member teaching a noncredit course shall be the same as the minimum qualifications for credit instruction in the appropriate discipline, or as follows: (b) For a noncredit basic skills course in mathematics, a bachelor's in mathematics.

Must have sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
