POSITION OVERVIEW
We are in search of a highly creative and exceptionally organized Video Editor with a background in branded content (any supplementary skills are a plus) to help realize our distinct creative visions. This position offers the chance to expand your impact beyond editing, serving as a versatile creative asset across a range of initiatives including branded media, podcasts, and social content.
We want an enthusiastic, detail-oriented professional to collaborate with our production unit on various largely-short form and some long-form assignments. A proactive mindset regarding asset management and a robust technical editing foundation are vital for this role.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated experience (at least 2 yrs +) as a branded content video editor. Agency and/or production company experience a plus.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is required; familiarity with After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition is a significant plus.
  • Ability to create a fully fleshed out motion graphics package, (animated lower thirds, animated titles, custom captioning, etc)
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain highly organized project files and workflows is essential.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing diverse editing styles, particularly in lifestyle and branded content.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative spirit and a genuine passion for sharing creative ideas and receiving constructive input.
  • Any on set experience in camera crew/G&E crew or production is a HUGE plus
  • Please send reel with commercial and/or branded content experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Editing & Post-Production
  • Assemble, cut, and refine video content for various platforms (social media, websites, ads, etc.) ensuring alignment with client briefs and brand guidelines.
  • Incorporate motion graphics, titles, music, and sound effects to enhance narrative and production quality.
  • Manage color correction and audio mixing for final deliverables. (this is for smaller scale projects that don't require high level color correction and/or sound mixing).
  • Execute revisions efficiently based on feedback from our internal team and clients.
  • Reports to Head of Creative and our full time editor
Workflow & Asset Management
  • Maintain an extremely organized file structure for all project assets, including footage, graphics, audio, and project files.
  • Perform essential file set up: ingest, logging, syncing, and transcribing media.
  • Ensure smooth archiving and backup of completed projects and raw media.
  • Prepare projects for final delivery in multiple required formats and resolutions.
Creative Collaboration
  • Collaborate constructively with our directors, producers, and other team members, maintaining open communication throughout the post-production process.
  • Proactively seek and integrate feedback, viewing input as a means to elevate the final product.
