Job description

JOB SUMMARY: The Part-time E-Commerce Order Fulfillment Clerk will assist with picking, packing, and shipping all items purchased from the E commerce site and ensure that all items are shipped within 48 hours of the purchase being finalized.

Starting Pay: $13.50

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Punctual and dependable attendance.
  • Prints pick lists, packing slips, and pulls sold items from shelving.
  • Comply with Goodwill Central Oklahoma policies and Donated Goods E-commerce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Goodwill Central Oklahoma’s safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Verifies accuracy of each shipment.
  • Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to each shipment.
  • Maintains accurate shipping records and tracking numbers.
  • Maintains a positive work environment by behaving and communicating in a positive manner with co-workers and the management team.
  • Maintain overall E-commerce department appearance, including cleanliness of facility and housekeeping to Goodwill standards.
  • Moves prepared shipments to shipping area and assists shipping company with pick up as needed.
  • Meets the standards and expectations for the number of items picked and shipped each day.
  • Attend all meetings and training as required by the Agency.
  • Review and be familiar with Goodwill of Central Oklahoma safety policies, programs and procedures and adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and safety codes. Attend safety training and meetings and report on any unsafe work conditions, accidents, or injuries immediately.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform other duties and projects as required by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 6 months of order processing experience is preferred.
  • Must be 18 years old.
  • Must pass a Goodwill approved criminal background check.
  • Ability to speak, read and write the English language.
  • Reliable transportation and communication, required.
  • Bilingual a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Works in climate-controlled warehouse environment most of time but will be exposed to airborne particles such as dust, mold, dirt and pollen as well as extreme heat and cold.
  • Must be available to work during operating hours as needed for business operations. Work schedule may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays and blackout periods which may vary from week to week as well as occasional overtime when approved by management.

  • Moderate noise level.
