$250 / month CAD

In addition, $21.00 per hour with mileage @0.68/km for servicing Planet Fitness locations.

Requires approximately one visit per week (3 hours a visit) plus some on demand calls to fitness locations.  A great Opportunity for Someone Looking for Additional Income!

BASIC FUNCTION

The location Maintenance & Repair Tech works a defined schedule in the Ottawa and surrounding area with direct responsibility for equipment such as strollers, CMUs, and massage chairs. Duties include P&L Management, performing monthly collections, repairing, cleaning, performing regular maintenance this equipment. This role will service the areas of Pembroke, Ottawa, Cornwall and Brockville.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working knowledge of equipment and ability to perform maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain clean equipment at all times.
  • Perform collections accurately, bank and report financial transactions as directed by the District Service Manager.
  • Submit reports in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Understand work rules and the expectations of the facility and Smarte Carte.
  • Maintain regular contact with District Service Manager.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by ensuring all equipment is in good repair and working as designed.
  • Interact with facility management (mall management), to establish and maintain good rapport and excellent working relationships.
  • Manage location in accordance with applicable state and federal laws and Smarte Carte and facility policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates or Technical degree preferred

 

SKILLS

  • Electrical and mechanical equipment repair
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to maintain records, write reports, and effectively operate a computer with a Windows operating system, and effectively use a smartphone

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Lift 40 lbs. to waist height
  • Push/Pull 75-100 lbs.
  • Bend and stoop, walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Visual acuity/manual dexterity to perform mechanical and electrical repairs

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Vehicle and valid Class G license required
