Job description

Position will be responsible for providing support to the Tinnin Fine Arts Center operations. Duties include but not limited to:
  • Operate standard theater equipment such as stage rigging, light board, sound board, microphones, spotlights, Macintosh computer, Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Perform building maintenance as assigned.
  • Maintain working knowledge of the set-up, operation, and maintenance of microphones.
  • Maintain working knowledge of the operation and maintenance of the Mackie 24-4 sound mixer.
  • Assist in set, prop, and light cable construction, load-in, set-up, strike and load-out of all performances.
  • Assist in the care and maintenance of the stage floor and rigging including main curtain, traveler, teasers, legs, and cyclorama curtains.
  • Assist the Director as needed for presentations, conferences, meetings, rehearsals, stage productions, special events and concerns.
  • Work at extreme heights (50 ft. max).
  • Evening and weekend hours as needed.
  • Assist in producing tickets.
  • Keep tools in good repair and stored neatly for use.

High school diploma, GED or equivalent required; associate degree preferred. Successful candidate must be able to communicate and follow oral and written directions. Salary range is $15.00 per hour.
