What you'll do
  • Operation and maintenance of the phone system and reception area. Reception area must be organized and kept clean and free from clutter.
  • Meet and screen all visitors and vendors. Maintain visitor log, badges and visitor confidentiality process
  • Administer uniform program and audit to maintain adequate inventory and pricing
  • Issue and maintain adequate inventory of PPE for visitors
  • Administer safety shoe and safety glasses program
  • Order, control and maintain adequate amounts office supplies and maintain storage areas. Coordinate with vendors to make needed repairs.
  • Maintain all federal, state and local required postings and company postings and policy books and ensure that all are kept current
  • Order, control and maintain adequate amounts of break room supplies and maintain storage areas. Coordinate with vendors to make needed repairs.
  • Help plan and coordinate plant activities, celebration, retirement & Holiday dinners
  • Help plan, coordinate and present materials for New Hire Orientation
  • Must be active on the HR Team, Charitable Contributions Team and Safety Team
  • Primary back-up for HR Administrative Assistant.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned by the HR Team Leader

  • High School Diploma - G.E.D.
  • College - some college degree work preferred
  • Must be able to multi task, be organized and conduct themselves in a positive professional manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Must pass all required testing (Typing, WPT-R, PCI MS Word & Excel)
  • This position requires each bidder to complete several computer tests produced by Wonderlic, Inc. To be a successful bidder, partners will need to meet minimal testing requirements of these tests as part of the selection process.
  • There will also be an interview required for this position.
  • Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing in an efficient, constructive, professional and positive manner
  • Demonstrated work habits of being neat, detail conscious and well organized.
  • Must be flexible and willing to take on other work responsibilities in support of co-workers.
  • Willing and able to work overtime and/or varied shifts as needed
  • Track record of being a team player as documented by performance appraisals on record
  • Must have an absenteeism rate of 40 points or less, commendable or better record in teamwork and overall job performance and have no disciplinary action.
  • English speaking/reading requirement in positions that require comprehension of the English language.
