Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
Job Summary
Library Assistant/Aide includes checking in and out books, cataloging books, assisting students on finding information, checking out chromebooks, logging broken chromebooks for repair, assisting teachers with information, recording material that needs to be ordered, creating test and uploading for the accelerated reading program, inventory
Job Responsibilities
  • Check books and materials in and out.
  • Catalog and organize library materials.
  • Assist students with finding books and information.
  • Check out Chromebooks and maintain related records.
  • Report and track broken Chromebooks for repair.
  • Assist teachers with finding information and library resources.
  • Record materials that need to be ordered.
  • Create tests and upload materials for the Accelerated Reader program.
  • Assist with inventory of books, technology, and other library materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with students and staff.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
