What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, contractors, and public agency personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government cultural location.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, cameras, access-control activity, and incoming calls; document information accurately and relay requests to appropriate personnel.
  • Coordinate responses to incidents, medical events, disturbances, facility concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain detailed dispatch logs, incident reports, activity records, and communications with responding personnel in accordance with site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
