Job description

The Data Collections Specialist will make non-sales calls to firm prospects with the goal of collecting data about the company. The primary goal is collecting the expiration date (x-date) of the company's current professional liability insurance. This is a part-time position offering approximately 20 hours to start.
Your Impact:
  • Collect insurance policy "X" dates and other pertinent prospect information including correct address, correct contact, fax number, number insured and an e-mail address.
  • Use database for marking responses and activities in telemarketing campaign and for generating follow-up activities for the appropriate salesperson.
  • Make 2 calls (one week apart) per prospect record (or until contact is made).
  • Prepare a weekly report for department manager(s) detailing the number of x-dates received and an analysis of campaign details (i.e. - wrong numbers, addresses changed, etc.) using Excel templates.
  • Maintain a minimum of 18 calls per hour.

Successful Candidates Will Have:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with basic computer skills including - keyboarding, data entry, word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
  • Previous exposure to working effectively in a call center setting is highly preferred but not required.
