Requirements

Our Psychoeducation Group Therapist scope is different than most clinics. Here, you will be part of an interdisciplinary psychiatric team and you will:

  • Facilitate 7-10 groups weekly
  • Study patient behavior and apply behavioral, cognitive and emotional skills
  • Document on shift only and leave work at work
  • Respond appropriately to different situations common among dual diagnosis and mental health disorders, including those with behavioral and developmental needs


Will you:

  • Effectively assist patients in advocating for their needs?
  • Accept professional feedback
  • Educate and break information down so patients walk away with 1-3 new ideas every group?

Do you have:

  • Experience in group facilitation?
  • Effective written/verbal communication in English?
  • Knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis, terminology, and medical record charting basics such as DAP, treatment planning and crisis intervention?
  • A license in good standing?
