Job description

We're looking for an experienced part-time Veterinarian to join our general practice clinic at Oyster Bay Animal Hospital who enjoys small animal medicine. 
Our veterinarians and seasoned support staff provide preventative care and vaccinations, general dentistry and soft tissue surgery, diagnose and treat illness, and support chronic disease management.
Oyster Bay Animal Hospital is a full service animal hospital in Oyster Bay, New York, serving the pets of our local community and surrounding towns on Long Island's North Shore. Part of the West Hills Animal Hospital network of practices, Oyster Bay is located just 8 miles from the campus of West Hills Animal Hospital & Emergency Center and Gold Center Center for Veterinary Care in Huntington. Our teams collaborate between sites with fully-integrated medical records for emergency cases and advanced specialty case referrals.
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA accredited university, or equivalent
  • Active veterinarian license or license-eligible to practice in New York
  • Experience in companion animal wellness and preventive care medicine 
  • A commitment to the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and relevant credentials, with an annual base salary range of $130,000 - $190,000 for full-time employment plus a percentage of production, with additional compensation components which may be included such as sign-on bonus and other pay incentives. Salary is prorated for part-time employment.
