Volleyball Coach Part-TimeSt. Francis de Sales Catholic SchoolPosition SummaryThe Part-Time Volleyball Coach is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering effective volleyball instruction while fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and player development. This role supports athletes' growth both on and off the court in a safe, positive, and encouraging environment.

Pay Rate: depending on education & experience
Work Year: school day afternoons during volleyball season, through championship games should the team go that far, with some additional days on weekends pending games; tournaments; etc.
Specific Days Needed: Will vary depending on sport.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and lead engaging volleyball practices focused on skill development, conditioning, and game strategy
- Teach and reinforce fundamentals, rules, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Evaluate player skills and provide constructive feedback
- Ensure player safety by following established safety guidelines and protocols
- Collaborate with other coaches, staff, and program leadership
- Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner
Qualifications- Strong knowledge of volleyball rules, techniques, and strategies
- Ability to motivate and work effectively with athletes of varying skill levels
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Physical Requirements- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to demonstrate volleyball skills such as serving, passing, and hitting
- Ability to lift and carry equipment (up to [XX] lbs)
