If you like a variety of duties, working independently, and some flexibility in completing tasks, this job provides that. While there are certain deadlines, the work is fairly flexible and can be organized to accommodate your schedule. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills plus the ability to manage and balance multiple priorities.


Responsibilities 


Financial Reporting (monthly and annual)

Billing and collections reports

Biller Utilization reporting

Client Compliance reports

Industry surveys

Audit and tax return support

Special purpose reporting


Accounts Payable assistance

Review and enter vendor invoices

Vendor-related research


Assist Accounting Manager and CFO as needed

Payroll preparation assistance

Participate in process improvements and contribute to operational efficiency within the accounting department


Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Economics or an Associate's degree plus relevant work experience 

Knowledge of GAAP and standard best-practices in accounting

Strong analytical, organization and problem-solving skills

Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients

Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLookup/Vlookup) or willingness to learn those features

Ability to maintain confidentiality
