About The Position:This position will provide basic diagnostics and aural rehabilitation/hearing aid dispensing for pediatrics and adults within the
Speech & Hearing Center at SUNY Plattsburgh's main campus. The Speech and Hearing Center serves as an academic facility for student clinicians and provides services to individuals with communication disorders and hearing loss. This position is expected to provide approximately 16 hours of service per week, though there is flexibility based on the successful candidate's availability. As part of the School of Education, Health, and Human Services we strive to prepare students for successful entry into their profession. We focus on an ethical approach to human well-being and encourage critical thinking and practical application. Required Qualifications: - Master's or Doctoral degree in audiology
- ASHA CCC-A
- Eligibility for New York State audiology and hearing aid dispensing licenses
- A demonstrated ability to work effectively and collegially with faculty, staff and administrators
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working effectively with diverse individuals and/or groups
Salary (Applicant View)$48.00/hour minimum
