Position Summary:Experienced climbing instructor responsible for designing personalized instruction, ensuring client safety, and fostering a love for the sport through one-on-one climbing sessions.
Essential Functions:- Responsible for private client group instruction, training, and monitoring during a reservation for private climbing instruction.
- Provide a high level of customer service to the guests. Assess individual climbing skill levels, tailor lessons for each client, and provide expert guidance and coaching throughout sessions.
- Enforce safety standards, written rules, facility policies and current industry belay and safety techniques.
- Adapt to diverse client needs: Work effectively with clients of all ages, physical capabilities, and experience levels, adjusting your instructional style and approach accordingly.
- Maintain and inspect climbing equipment: Ensure all equipment is in good working order. Inspect ropes, harnesses, carabiners, and other gear of all parties. Train in their use and safety measures.
- Responsible for training and certifying climbers for "Climbing Wall Safety Orientation and Belay Test" to have access to wall during un-staffed hours.

- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively with other staff members, parents and participants.
Education, Training & Certifications:Necessary:- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- CPR and First Aid required within 30 days of hire date.
