Twisters Gymnastics is seeking energetic and enthusiastic camp counselors for our summer camp program, catering to children ages 4-12 years. Join us for a summer filled with weekly field trips, sports, action packed games and much more! 


Position: Camp Counselor within a gymnastics gym
Location: Berlin, MD
Job Type: Seasonal Full Time
Salary: Commensurate with experience and education 


  Responsibilities:

  • Help oversee camper activities
  • Guide and teach a range of outdoor activities
  • Ensure camper safety and monitor their activities
  • Set up and ensure recreation equipment is secure and stored properly
  • Supervise campers during meals
  • Ability to work with children in a ratio of 10-15 students with one teacher. 
  • Instruct campers in daily routines and cleanup tasks
  • Follow safety and emergency procedures and guidelines
  • Work one-on-one with campers
  • Instruct and organize camper projects (arts and crafts, dramatics, etc.)
Requirements:

  Requirements:

  • Able to work from June 1-August 28, 2026. Camp runs from June 15 - August 28.
  • High school degree or equivalent; previous summer camp experience preferred
  • First aid and CPR training and certification preferred
  • Must be comfortable in the water and going on all field trips
  • Valid driver's license. Willing to drive a van with campers.
  • CPS background check and fingerprint background check required
