Location: Ocala, FL
Employment Type: Part-Time, up to 24 hours per week
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Job Summary
FreeD.O.M. Clinic USA is seeking a professional and organized Intake Specialist to assist patients and support clinic operations. The Intake Specialist will be responsible for patient registration, gathering required information, scheduling appointments, determining eligibility, and ensuring patient records are complete and ready for clinic services.
Responsibilities
  • Register patients and create and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Gather required patient information and documentation.
  • Determine patient self-declared income eligibility using the Florida Department of Health Volunteer Health Care Provider Program Eligibility Form.
  • Answer patient questions regarding available services and make referrals when necessary.
  • Schedule patients for clinics and appointments.
  • Ensure patient information and records are complete and ready before each clinic.
  • Assist with front desk operations and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, reception, patient registration, or customer service environment preferred.
  • Strong computer and data-entry skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred but not required.
Schedule
This position is part-time, with up to 24 hours per week. Some Tuesday thru Friday 6 hours per day
