Role Overview

As a Key Holder, you will play a critical role in driving both operational excellence and elevated customer experience. This position blends inventory control, back-of-house organization, and visual standards with key holder responsibilities, sales support, and floor leadership.

You will act as a trusted leader when management is not present, support daily store operations, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure the sales team is set up for success. Your attention to detail, leadership mindset, and retail expertise will directly impact store performance.


Key Responsibilities

Store Operations & Leadership

  1. Support opening and closing procedures, including reports and safeguarding store assets
  2. Act as a key holder and lead point-of-contact when management is unavailable
  3. Enforce store policies and ensure operational standards are met
  4. Support outbound shipments for Online Orders and Sweeps
  5. Assist with end-of-day reconciliation and operational troubleshooting

Inventory Management & Merchandising

  1. Receive, process, and organize inbound shipments
  2. Ensure accurate tagging, placement, and presentation of merchandise
  3. Maintain inventory organization in both front-of-house and stockroom areas
  4. Partner with management on cycle counts, audits, variances, and loss prevention
  5. Support merchandising standards and overall visual presentation

Sales & Customer Experience

  1. Deliver exceptional customer service and support sales floor productivity
  2. Drive sales through product knowledge, client engagement, and follow-up
  3. Promote a customer-first, team-oriented environment
  4. Ensure associates have the tools and resources needed each shift

Team Support & Training

  1. Assist with onboarding and training of new hires
  2. Reinforce store procedures, best practices, and service standards
  3. Help motivate and guide team members toward operational and sales excellence

POS & Transactions

  1. Accurately process transactions, returns, and exchanges
  2. Operate and troubleshoot POS systems as needed
  3. Support cash handling procedures and discrepancy resolution

Other Duties

  1. Maintain store cleanliness, supply levels, and readiness
  2. Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs


Requirements

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  1. 2+ years of retail experience in operations, inventory, sales, or leadership
  2. Strong organizational and time-management skills
  3. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Familiarity with POS systems, Excel, email, and inventory platforms
  6. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, use ladders/stairs, and move merchandise
  7. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Scheduling may vary and include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. While availability preferences are considered, schedules are based on business needs as we operate seven days a week.
