The Chinatown Service Center (CSC) is a nonprofit organization providing multilingual health and social services, employment training, and counseling in Greater Los Angeles. CSC'S Clinical Supervisor - Behavioral Healthโ€™s Purpose:

The Clinical Supervisor will manage the clinical integrity of the behavioral health clinic and provide clinical supervision to unlicensed therapists.


As a Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor at CSC, You will be responsible for:

  • Guide staff and interns, ensuring quality client care and accurate documentation through conducting peer audit, while ensuring audit-ready standards.
  • Provide weekly clinical and administrative supervision and train staff on knowledge, tools, and skills for success.
  • Review client records and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Utilize electronic health records and agency reports effectively.
  • Oversee billing and compliance with programmatic and contractual requirements.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to program development.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • LMFT/LCSW/Licensed Psychologist in California, with 2+ years post-licensure experience.
  • Engaged in at least two years of psychotherapy practice themselves OR directly supervised qualifying individuals conducting psychotherapy for at least two years, both within the five years before starting supervision
  • Knowledge of principles and techniques of social, cultural, and intergenerational dynamics of Asian immigrants and refugees..
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Have reliable transportation to clinics, programs, and events as may be needed
  • Successfully meet the post-offer/pre-hire physical and background, license, and educational check requirements and receive an eligibility status for Level II Background Check required by the State of California.
