This is a continuous recruitment for an applicant pool to fill part-time (up to 67%), substitute, temporary, or hourly assignments on an as needed basis. Part-Time faculty applications will remain in the pool for one year.

ASSIGNMENTApplications for Part-Time Instructors are always being accepted for assignments at the main campus as well as teaching on-line and at off-campus sites located at Fort Irwin. Assignments are at the discretion of the District. REQUIREMENTS Master's in chemistry OR Bachelor's in chemistry or biochemistry AND Master's in biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical physics, physics, molecular biology or geochemistry OR the equivalent.

Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse, academic, socio-economic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students. Desired Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in teaching at the community college level.
