How you’ll make an impact in this role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and leadership driven cardiologist to co-lead the development and management of a statewide cardiovascular care program along with a Dyad partner and our employed medical group (Ascension Medical Group) administration.

  • Plan and direct medical policies and programs.
  • Dyad leadership model
  • Oversight of a well-established multidisciplinary Cardiology Service Line
  • Lead the service line with purpose, defining and achieving financial targets, managing annual operating budgets, and ensuring the efficient allocation of resources.
  • Work alongside leadership to develop and execute growth plans for our clinical practice, while facilitating strong, trust-based relationships across our physician teams. 
  • Ensure that clinical programs are in compliance with governmental and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement utilization review and quality improvement systems. Implement educational programs and offerings.
  • Maintain a hands-on connection to patient care by providing medical services in an assigned area, keeping you deeply rooted in the clinical reality of our patients.
  • Prepare annual operating budget for assigned service areas.
  • Consult with planning and operations leadership in new program development. Supervise any assigned medical/resident programs.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • One or more of the following required:
    • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Podiatrist credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Optometry (OD) or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) required.
