Part Time Rental Clerk Job Summary

Essential Duties Include The Following:

  • Create and close rental agreements with accurate information.
  • Check Mycase on all customers and use proper discernment in when to decline customers.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in demeanor and attire.
  • Interact with customers in a professional manner through online, over the phone, and in-person communication to place reservations on rental vehicles.
  • Answer customer questions regarding the rental program.
  • Follow-up on overdue rental returns.
  • Inspect rental vehicles during customer rental pickup and return, including pictures of vehicles during pickup.
  • Ensure vehicles are cleaned and ready for the next rental reservations, even cleaning vehicles if needed.
  • Assist with organizing the rental car lot for optimal presentation and accessibility.
  • Monitor and maintain fuel levels, tire pressure, and overall vehicle readiness.
  • Follow all dealership safety and operational procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
