Job description

Clint Wilson State Farm Agency

Location: Fishers, IN

Compensation: $60,000 - $100,000 (Salary + Commission)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9AM- 5PM (after hours as needed)

Are you the type of person who wants to be rewarded for your effort, coached hard, and given a real path to grow? Clint Wilson State Farm Agency is looking for a driven, positive, and coachable Risk Advisor to join our sales team. This is a high-opportunity role for someone who wants to build a serious career in sales, insurance, and financial protection.

You will help families protect what matters most through home, auto, life, and disability insurance. We provide leads, training, tools, coaching, and a proven process. You bring energy, discipline, follow-through, and the willingness to get better every day. This is not a service desk role. This is not a slow-paced admin job. This is a sales role for someone who wants to win.

What You’ll Do:
Your main responsibility is simple: create quality conversations, identify client needs, and help households get properly protected.

You will:
  • Consult with prospective clients to understand their risks, goals, and coverage gaps.
  • Recommend personalized insurance plans across home, auto, life, and disability.
  • Quote a minimum of 3 new households per day.
  • Drive new household acquisition through provided leads, referrals, and self-generated opportunities.
  • Use Salesforce CRM, virtual meeting tools, and AI-enabled systems to manage your pipeline.
  • Follow up consistently and professionally with prospects.
  • Participate in daily coaching, huddles, and sales training.
  • Build referral relationships that increase your earning potential.

This is consultative selling, not cold calling all day. We value quality conversations, strong follow-up, and trust-based recommendations.

What Success Looks Like:
You will know exactly where you stand. We believe in clear expectations, consistent coaching, and measurable performance.
Successful Risk Advisors will:
  • Quote at least 3 new households per day.
  • Produce at least 30 new applications per month.
  • Write at least 2 life insurance policies per month.
  • Build a strong pipeline of referrals and self-generated opportunities.
  • Become licensed and actively quoting within the first 2 weeks.
  • Improve weekly through coaching and feedback.

If you are consistent, coachable, and willing to do the work, this role gives you a real opportunity to earn, grow, and build a long-term career.

What We Provide:
We do not throw you into the role and hope you figure it out. You will be trained, coached, and supported.
You will receive:
  • Leads to help you start conversations quickly.
  • Training from a top Indiana State Farm agent.
  • Daily team huddles and sales coaching.
  • One-on-one feedback and in-the-moment coaching.
  • Salesforce CRM and virtual selling tools.
  • AI tools to help you work smarter and follow up better.
  • Licensing support for Indiana Property & Casualty and Life & Health.
  • A clear path to increased responsibility, leadership, and potential agency ownership.

Who This Role Is For:
This role is a strong fit if you:
  • Want a career where effort and performance matter.
  • Are competitive, ambitious, and goal-driven.
  • Have a positive attitude and bring energy to the team.
  • Are coachable and can apply feedback quickly.
  • Communicate well and enjoy helping people make important decisions.
  • Are comfortable being measured by activity and results.
  • Want to grow into leadership or potentially own an agency someday.
  • Take personal responsibility instead of making excuses.

Who This Role Is Not For:
This is not the right role if you:
  • Need to be constantly pushed to take action.
  • Are uncomfortable with sales goals.
  • Want a job where you can hide behind admin work.
  • Struggle with rejection or follow-up.
  • Resist coaching or feedback.
  • Prefer a fixed routine with no performance expectations.
  • Are not willing to obtain the required insurance licenses quickly.

We are not looking for perfect resumes. We are looking for high-character people with drive.

Requirements:
To be considered, you must:
  • Have a positive attitude.
  • Be coachable.
  • Have a strong work ethic.
  • Be willing to immediately obtain the Indiana Property & Casualty License.
  • Be willing to immediately obtain the Indiana Life & Health License.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Be comfortable using technology and CRM tools.
  • Be reliable, accountable, and team-oriented.

No minimum college degree or prior insurance experience is required. Sales experience is helpful, but not required. We hire for character, drive, and coachability.

Compensation:
This role includes:
  • Base Pay $45,000 (after completing training program).
  • Commissions of $1,000 - $3,500+ per month.
  • Bonus Opportunities.
  • Anticipated First Year Income $60,000 - $85,000.
  • 401(k), generous paid time off, and health stipend (soon to be a group health plan).
Top performers will have the opportunity to increase earnings through strong production, referrals, life insurance sales, and long-term growth inside the agency.

Why Join Clint Wilson State Farm Agency:
You will be joining a team that takes its work seriously but still enjoys the process. We care about our clients, we coach our people, and we believe insurance sales can be a meaningful, high-income career for the right person.

This is a chance to learn a valuable industry, protect families from financial devastation, and build a future based on your own effort and growth. If you are hungry, positive, coachable, and ready to build something real, we want to talk to you.
