Marketing Coordinator
Part Time Asheville, NC (On-site only) $25/hour ~20-25 hrs/week
Reports to: Marketing Director
This is an in-person role based in Asheville, NC. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
About Us
AyurPrana's Asheville Yoga Center is a local landmark in the grassroots Asheville community as well as a respected regional and national hub for inspirational, heart-centered yoga classes, workshops, retreats, and transformational teacher training programs. Along with the rest of the AyurPrana village - including the Ayurvedic Institute, SoHum Mountain Healing Resort, AyurPrana Listening Room, AyurPrana+ Streaming App- our mission is to elevate consciousness, cultivate community, and curate wellness and spiritual journeys for people. It is our goal to foster a work environment that is both supportive and family-oriented allowing each individual to shine and be the best version of themselves.
The Role
We're looking for a hands-on, highly organized Marketing Coordinator to own content creation and execution across our social media, email, and website platforms. This part-time role is focused primarily on social media content, short-form video, and email marketing with occasional support for events and community outreach.
A portfolio and examples of your original work is required. Applications without one will not be considered.
What You'll Own
Content Creation & Social Media
  • Build and manage content calendars for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Film, edit, and publish short-form video for Reels, Stories, and ads
  • Capture photo and video content at workshops, events, and with staff
  • Design digital graphics using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Write compelling copy for social posts, email campaigns, and occasional blog or landing page content
  • Design, print, and handle flyer and physical collateral display across campus and work with local distribution partners

Email Marketing
  • Plan and execute email campaigns using HubSpot
  • Maintain send schedules and monitor performance metrics

Digital Operations
  • Update website content via WordPress
  • Track performance through HubSpot and Google Analytics
  • Assist with paid ad campaigns on Meta and Google

Events (occasional)
  • Support AYC's presence at community events and festivals
  • Coordinate materials and lead capture; availability for some evenings and weekends required

You're a Great Fit If You Have

  • Demonstrated ability to manage social media channels and hit publishing deadlines consistently
  • Hands-on video editing and photography experience
  • Strong writing, proofing, and self-editing skills with a sharp visual eye
  • Proficiency with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Google Analytics, and Meta Business Suite
  • Exceptional organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A self-starter mindset with an Interest in yoga, wellness, or holistic education
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently without compromising quality
  • Ability to learn and communicate clearly with the voicing and branding of the studio
  • Experience working with other marketing specialists and vendors while communicating clearly and effectively
