Job description

Description
The Apple Creek YMCA (north side of Appleton), Appleton YMCA, Fox West YMCA (Greenville), Heart of the Valley YMCA (Kimberly) and Ogden YMCA (Neenah) are hiring Personal Trainers to use their passion for health & well-being to encourage and empower individuals to make a difference in their lives! The Y has award-winning facilities with both functional training areas and top-of-the-line strength & cardio equipment. As a personal fitness trainer, you'll safely design, implement and monitor exercise programs for individuals and small groups of our members. Trainers also work closely with Registered Dietitians and Physical Therapists to provide to complete & holistic approach to whole body improvements.
This is a part-time position with flexible hours, ranging from 2-6 hours/week. Additional hours are available.
Requirements
  • Degree in a health & wellness-related field or personal trainer certification through a NCCA-accredited institution
  • Prior experience working with special populations (i.e., diabetes, cancer survivors, pre/post-rehab, elderly, youth) is preferred but not required.
  • Certification in CPR, First-Aid & AED or be willing to obtain through the YMCA once hired.
