Join us for 4 weeks of pickleball play. Learn from an experienced pickleball player who will introduce newbies to the sport, cover basic paddle skills, scoring, positioning, and general game play. For beginners to advanced players.
Competencies and outcomes include:
  • Forehand & backhand: Demonstrates good form of the forehand and backhand strokes with a short-handled implement in net games.
  • Serving: Performs a legal underhand serve with control.
  • Rules & etiquette: Demonstrates knowledge of rules and etiquette by self-officiating.
  • Working with others: Responds appropriately to participants' ethical and unethical behavior during physical activity by using rules and guidelines for resolving conflicts.
  • Social interaction: Demonstrates respect for self and others in activities and games by following the rules, encouraging others and playing in the spirit of the game or activity.
