Job Title: PILATES INSTRUCTORRate of Pay: $55/class + Tips Shift: Part Time Year Round/On-callMonday – Sunday, 8am-1pm with evening and private appointments as requested. Must be willing to work weekends and holidaysYoga Instructors must report to work 30 minutes prior to their scheduled class time. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly SUMMARYSupport and promote the image, service and standards of Sundance, The Spa and the Wellness Program. Be a team player, promoting health & wellness, yoga classes, spa services and other Sundance activities. Provide excellent customer service to all wellness program and spa guests.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAid in the operation of a resort wellness program.Guide/assist the guests through their wellness program and spa experience.Attend all educational events and meetings sponsored by the spa and Sundance.Punctual and consistent attendance and performance of job duties.Daily set-up and cleaning of wellness program areas.Support the recycling program.Set the ambiance for relaxation.Maintain proper start/stop times for classes.Ensure that each guests uses proper equipment for wellness program.Ensure guest satisfaction and comfort during their class.Lead classes on a general wellness program.Teach private classes on specialized wellness programs.Must be knowledgeable of wellness program applications and a variety of styles.Be a resource to guests on proper posture and body mechanics as well as a resource for information pertaining to the resort, the Spa, and its products.Share the Sundance story of land preservation and environmental commitment as the occasion arises.Fulfill any reasonable requests of the guests and management.Communicate with management and other team members, regarding guest or service concerns.Manage and maintain wellness program supplies.Report any operational needs to the Spa Manager.Promote services for the wellness program.Perform other duties assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certified Graduate from a registered yoga school and at least 2 years of experience in teaching preferred. Applicant must be willing to obtain certification in Ashtanga yoga within 6 months of hire.
