Bilingual Mortgage Servicing Specialist (Spanish/English)
Remote | Arizona Part-Time | Monday-Friday | 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM PST $20.00-$23.00 per hour DOE
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a rapidly expanding financial services organization seeking a Bilingual Mortgage Servicing Specialist to join their remote team. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with recent mortgage servicing experience who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer support and helping borrowers navigate their mortgage accounts.
To be considered, candidates must be fluent in both English and Spanish and have prior experience within mortgage loan servicing, collections, default servicing, or a closely related mortgage environment.
Position Overview
As a Mortgage Servicing Specialist, you will serve as a key resource for borrowers by addressing questions related to their home loans, providing account assistance, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of mortgage servicing practices.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications with borrowers through phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Provide information regarding mortgage payments, escrow activity, insurance requirements, tax disbursements, loan balances, and transaction history.
  • Guide customers through servicing-related processes, including loan payoffs, escrow reviews, payment application procedures, and modification inquiries.
  • Investigate and resolve account concerns, servicing discrepancies, and borrower complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Update customer profiles and process account maintenance requests, including contact information changes and documentation needs.
  • Discuss available solutions and assistance programs with borrowers experiencing payment challenges or financial hardship.
  • Partner with internal teams to address complex servicing matters and ensure accurate resolution of borrower requests.
  • Document all customer interactions thoroughly within servicing platforms and account management systems.
  • Interpret mortgage documents and explain loan-related information clearly and accurately.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, company procedures, and servicing standards.
  • Achieve established service, quality, and productivity performance metrics.
  • Recommend process enhancements that improve borrower satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent mortgage loan servicing experience required.
  • Previous experience supporting a high volume of customer interactions in a call center or servicing environment.
  • Proficiency with mortgage servicing systems, MLS platforms, and CRM software.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required.
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
