Part Time Parts & Dispatch Associate

We are a small start-up team located in the greater DMV area. We are looking to hire a Part-time Parts & Dispatch Associate to manage day-to-day logistics operations at Roda. The ideal candidate will have a "start-up" mentality, thrive in a fast-paced environment, have demonstrated dispatch, customer service, and or management experience, and get exhilarated when sharing great ideas.

The Role

The Part-Time Parts & Logistics Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily service operations by coordinating our driver team as well as managing and maintaining the inventory of the parts delivered during shift throughout the shop. This role is critical in maintaining productivity, minimizing downtime, and supporting a smooth customer experience, especially during high-volume periods such as weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Saturday operations by managing appointments, monitoring schedules, and ensuring all arrivals and drop-offs are accounted for
  • Review completed repair orders and overnight drop-offs to ensure proper follow-up and documentation
  • Support service advisors with timely updates to help keep customers informed
  • Dispatch drivers using internal tools, prioritizing efficiency, cost control, and on time percentage
  • Monitor vehicle movement and ensure smooth handoffs between pickup, service, and return
  • Receive incoming parts with speed and accuracy-verify against invoices, inspect for damage, and process into Tekmetric under the correct repair order
  • Label and stage parts clearly by RO number to ensure proper organization and accessibility
  • Update part statuses in the system to maintain visibility for the team
  • Maintain organized documentation by consolidating and submitting all daily invoices
  • Close out the day by cleaning up schedules, canceling no-shows, confirming upcoming appointments, securing sensitive items, and leaving clear notes for the next team
  • Ensure all paperwork, parts areas, and workspace are organized and ready for the next business day
