Their duties often include diagnosing issues with inboard or outboard motors, performing routine maintenance like oil changes and filter replacements, and ensuring that all mechanical and electrical systems are functioning safely and efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with customers help set you apart in this role. These skills ensure safe, reliable boat operation and customer satisfaction, which are critical to success in marine service environments.
