What does a part time behavioral health case manager do remotely?

A Part Time Behavioral Health Case Manager working remotely helps clients manage mental health or substance use issues by coordinating care, developing treatment plans, and connecting them with resources—all through phone calls, video meetings, and digital communication. How does a part time behavioral health case manager coordinate care and communicate with clients and interdisciplinary teams remotely?

As a remote, part-time Behavioral Health Case Manager, you will generally use secure digital platforms—such as telehealth software, video calls, and electronic health records—to stay connected with clients, providers, and other support team members. You'll regularly schedule virtual check-ins with clients to assess progress, address concerns, and update care plans. Effective time management and strong communication skills are essential, as you will often need to coordinate resources and interventions across multiple agencies while working independently. Collaborative meetings with therapists, physicians, and social workers are common, ensuring continuity of care and comprehensive support for each client.
