Job description

The Cirrus Aircraft Line Service Technician ensures every customer receives excellent service by providing a safe, clean, welcoming, and comfortable aviation experience. The primary duties of the Line Service Technician surround fueling, servicing, towing, and marshalling aircraft. He or she also assists with aircraft deliveries, servicing, detailing, and other guests' needs while adhering to the Cirrus Service Culture handbook. Secondary duties include assisting Factory Service Center, Flight Operations, and Ownership team members with various tasks to ensure world-class lateral and outward service.


  • Provide the highest level of safety and service possible in a dynamic and challenging work environment.
  • Work as part of a team delivering safe and efficient aircraft services while providing a welcoming atmosphere to customers and other guests
  • Marshall incoming aircraft and provide a warm welcome to guests.
  • Park and secure aircraft as appropriate.
  • Assist guests with luggage, provide refreshments, and record guests' needs in a professional manner.
  • Provide or arrange for transportation for guests, to include operating company vehicles.
  • Independently and proactively prepare for arriving/departing aircraft, identify and perform open job tasks, and immediately speak up and/or point out observed safety concerns to all stakeholders.
  • Oversee every aspect of aircraft readiness for guests and Flight Operations personnel. Detail aircraft, service fluids, oxygen, and tires. Update aircraft databases and provide assistance with XM and Connext subscriptions. Ensure aircraft are climate-controlled and provide departure amenities for guests in a timely manner.
  • Operate, maintain, and detail fuel trucks, aircraft tugs, and company vehicles.
  • Maintain fueling and customer records in CRM software.
  • Arrange catering and other amenities for guests and Cirrus events.
  • Assist with aircraft delivery preparation.
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the Delivery Center, storage hangars, ramp areas, office and desk space, and other storage areas.
  • Organize and maintain Line and Flight Operations equipment inventory.
  • Assist with general cleaning of assigned area.
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
  • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
  • Company vehicle driving requirements estimated at 10%; must have valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience Requirement(s): 1-3 years experience in customer service, line service or related field preferred
  • Certification Requirement(s): Able to acquire an MKAA Airport Badge
  • License Requirement(s): Valid state driver's license
