Job description

Lead Cabin Appearance Agent
Key responsibilities
  • Remove all trash from aircraft and clean and restock all lavatories and soiled magazines
  • Clean aircraft floor, galley, all seats, seat back pockets, and tray tables
  • Complete Daily Equipment Checks and associated checklists, including security searches
  • Use personal protective equipment, including a face shield & hearing protection
  • Manage the daily operation to ensure all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly
  • Provide direction, instruction and coaching to employees as needed
  • Work closely with Dispatchers and Supervisors to ensure employee assignments are followed and completed correctly
  • Effectively communicate with all hub services agents
  • Ensure any injuries, incidents, accidents, and/or customer service issues are properly reported and processed
  • Maintain professional working relationships with fellow employees, supervisors, managers, airline employees, and airport authorities
  • Ensure the operation functions in a safe, caring, dependable and efficient manner at all times
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

Qualifications and minimum requirements
  • High school diploma, GED or preferred
  • Minimum of 18 years old
  • Must possess a valid state issued driver's license
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Ability to operate a computer/tablet to enter and retrieve data
  • Must be willing and able to perform a variety of physical activities including, bending, stooping, climbing, and working in tight spaces
  • Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment
  • Must be able to read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags
  • Eligibility to obtain necessary credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal) per local requirements
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Must be able to work during day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays; mandatory overtime may be required based on operational need
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
