BRAXTON BREWING COMPANY
Bartender — CVG Taproom
Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport

Location: Braxton Brewing — CVG Taproom, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (Hebron, KY)
Reports To: CVG Taproom Manager
Employment Type: Part-Time (Weekends amp; Holidays Required)
Compensation: Hourly + Tips

About Braxton

Braxton Brewing Company was built in a garage and powered by a dream. Today, our CVG taproom brings Kentucky-brewed craft beer to one of the busiest travel hubs in the region — for many travelers, we're their first taste of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, or their last stop before takeoff. We're looking for bartenders who bring energy, hospitality, and genuine pride in our brand to every pour.

Position Summary

As a Bartender at our CVG taproom, you'll serve travelers from every corner of the world — pouring Braxton beers and seltzers, plus coffee and non-alcoholic options, and turning a hectic travel day into a great experience. This role moves fast: quick turns, tight windows between flights, and guests who need friendly, efficient service. You're a brand ambassador, a beer educator, and often the very first impression of Braxton — and of our city — that a traveler gets.

What You'll Do

  • Complete opening or closing checklists, stock the bar, tap and rotate kegs, and keep the taproom guest-ready at all times.
  • Pour and serve Braxton's lineup of beers and seltzers, plus coffee, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options.
  • Deliver fast, friendly, accurate service to travelers on tight timelines — read the guest, keep the line moving, and make it memorable.
  • Check IDs on every alcohol order, including out-of-state and international identification, and serve responsibly at all hours of operation.
  • Operate the POS accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and complete end-of-shift reporting.
  • Keep the bar, taps, and guest areas clean, organized, and health-code compliant throughout the shift.
  • Communicate inventory needs, equipment issues, and guest feedback to the CVG Taproom Manager.
  • Represent Braxton with pride — know our story, know our beers, and share both with travelers discovering us for the first time.

What You'll Bring

  • Reliability above all — travelers (and flights) don't wait. Punctuality is non-negotiable.
  • Reliable personal transportation for shift start times outside typical public transit hours.
  • Prior bartending or high-volume food amp; beverage service experience preferred.
  • Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain an airport security (SIDA) badge — required for all CVG airport employees.
  • Alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) and knowledge of responsible service practices.
  • A positive, high-energy presence — genuine hospitality for tired, hurried, and sometimes stressed travelers.
  • Ability to stand for full shifts, lift up to 50 lbs (kegs, cases), and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Availability for weekends and holidays — the airport never closes for the big travel days.

Why Braxton

  • Hourly pay plus strong tip volume in a high-traffic airport location.
  • Consistent, predictable part-time scheduling in a high-traffic location.
  • Free airport employee parking and badge-holder perks.
  • Braxton beer benefits, merch discounts, and a team that lives the Lift One Up spirit.
  • Growth opportunities across five taproom locations and a fast-growing brand.

Braxton Brewing Company is an equal opportunity employer. Employment at the CVG location is contingent on passing the federal background check required for airport security badging.
