  Part Time Automotive Lot AttendantPosition Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Automotive Lot Attendant to join our dealership team at DePaula Chevrolet. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate is responsible, self-motivated, and able to work independently while maintaining the dealership’s vehicle inventory and ensuring a safe, organized lot. If you are dependable, enjoy working around vehicles, and are looking to start a career in the automotive industry, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the organization and appearance of the dealership lot.
  • Safely move, park, and retrieve new and pre-owned vehicles.
  • Verify vehicle identification (VIN/serial numbers) and ensure inventory records are accurate.
  • Maintain proper parking lot flow for customers and dealership operations.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage and report any issues promptly.
  • Keep vehicle keys organized and follow dealership key control procedures.
  • Assist with vehicle transfers and other dealership support duties as assigned.
  • Operate all vehicles safely and in accordance with dealership policies.
Qualifications
  • Entry-level position; previous automotive experience is helpful but not required.
  • Valid New York State Driver’s License with a good driving record.
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
  • Responsible, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
