Part-Time Automotive Service Writer / Service Advisor

Location: Maple Shade, NJ
Job Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Saturdays required (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM + two weeknights (3:00 PM – 7:00 PM)

Job Summary

Our dealership is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Part-Time Service Writer / Service Advisor to assist in our busy service department. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service, helping to document concerns, communicate with technicians, and ensure a smooth service experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills and an interest in the automotive industry.

Schedule Requirements

  • Every Saturday required: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Two weeknights per week: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers arriving for service and assist with check-in
  • Document vehicle concerns and open repair orders
  • Communicate customer concerns to service technicians
  • Provide basic service recommendations when appropriate
  • Keep customers informed about service progress
  • Review completed services with customers at vehicle pickup
