Junior Analyst
Coastal is looking for motivated individuals looking for a first-hand look at the technology consulting world to join our team as part of our Junior Analyst program. Our program is designed for current university students near one of our office locations with an interest in technology, consulting and networking, and learning new tangible skills through a (fun!) comprehensive internship program during the summer, fall, or spring terms. Coastal is a top-ranked Salesforce Platinum Partner that is focused on building lasting relationships with our clients, and although we're working with and implementing innovative technology, our primary focus is our people and our clients.
Our part-time, paid internship program is 8-12 weeks, depending on the term, and will provide you with the hard skills needed to be successful in the technology industry. You'll closely work alongside top industry leaders, shadowing real client calls and internal meetings, creating a team-focused case study based on real client scenarios, and of course, experiencing a fun and flexible team culture at one of the top Salesforce partners in the country. After successful completion of the program, you'll have gained hands-on Salesforce knowledge, communication and presentation skills, networking and career development, and much more!
Responsibilities
  • Complete independent and group training activities related to technology and consulting skills
  • Complete and present a group-based case study, weaving throughout the training period
  • Stay on task and meet all deadlines as part of the Junior Analyst curriculum
  • Communicate effectively with managers, internship administrators, and peers
  • Prepare and sit for the Salesforce Certified Administrator Exam by the end of the training period (We will cover the cost of all Salesforce Certifications!)

Required Skills, Education and Experience
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree with an interest in technology and consulting; Juniors or Seniors highly preferred
  • Ability to commute to one of our office locations: Lexington, KY, Atlanta, GA, or Tysons Corner, VA
  • Ability to work 18 hours per week, in blocks of four or more hours at a time
  • Completion of the Coastal Internship Training Program (pre-interview) Trailmix on Trailhead
  • Interest in the technology and consulting industries and strong technical aptitude (Microsoft Office, GSuite, various coding/automation languages, etc)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, relationship building, presentation skills, teamwork, and adaptability
  • Self-starter, takes initiative, willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced industry surrounded by like-minded individuals
  • Must have full-time, permanent US work authorization
