Activities Team Member
Part-Time, Non - Exempt
Southall is a premier destination bringing nature, produce and people together in a powerful and unique way.
The Activities Team Member will serve guests through the facilitation of guest-tailored outdoor programming and transporting guests around Southall property. Programs include Aerial Adventure Course, Guided Hikes, Mountain Biking, Archery, Axe Throwing, Fishing, Canoeing, and more. Southall Staff aim to provide 5-star level experience in all aspects of their interactions with guests.
Responsibilities
  • Providing a safe, welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff
  • Facilitation of programming and transporting of guests
  • Facilitation of Southall programming with an emphasis on safety, experiential education, and unique experiences
  • Inspection and maintenance of equipment, facilities, and locations of programs
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by Southall Leadership

Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience teaching or facilitating experiential programming.
  • Previous hospitality and customer service experience
  • A deep appreciation for nature and service

Education & Experience
  • CPR/AED & First Aid certification within 30 days of starting date.
  • Lifeguard certification preferred.
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs
  • Available to work Saturdays and Sundays, evenings and/or holidays
  • Must be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods as needed and able to work in all weather conditions
  • This position spends the majority of the day outdoors and moving throughout the property
