Job description

Schedule: Sunday - Friday 10a-6p. A holiday weekend rotation is required.

Job Duties:
  • Assist in patient care under direct supervision of Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, or Occupational Therapist in hospital setting.  Assisting with exercises, transfers and mobility.
  • Preparing therapy session equipment and organizing therapy gym space. Duties may include gathering mobility equipment, organizing patient room for safety during mobility, inspecting mobility equipment. 
  • Cleaning Equipment and ensuring that equipment is in good working condition, organizing equipment inventory, and providing input to management on equipment replacement and additions as identified by need. 
  • Willing to take on additional responsibilities for team scheduling, ordering, etc
  • Assists in patient mobility by participating in the hospital wide Mobility Program.
  • Embrace lifelong learning: willingly receive feedback and learn from team members, active in staff meetings, seek continual learning opportunities to advance knowledge, and share feedback to promote the growth of the team.
