Part Time Agency information

What is a part time agency?

A Part Time Agency is a business or organization that connects individuals seeking part-time work with employers who need part-time staff. These agencies help match workers to flexible roles in various industries, such as retail, hospitality, administration, or customer service. They handle recruitment, screening, and sometimes payroll, making it easier for both job seekers and employers to find suitable arrangements. By working with a part time agency, job seekers can access a range of job opportunities that fit around their schedules.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part-time agency worker, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part-Time Agency Worker, you typically need a high school diploma or equivalent, adaptability, and the ability to quickly learn new tasks across various industries. Familiarity with time tracking software, scheduling systems, or specific tools relevant to assignments (such as point-of-sale systems or warehouse equipment) is often required. Strong communication, reliability, and a proactive attitude help you stand out in temporary or flexible roles. These skills and qualities are important because they enable you to quickly integrate into new teams, efficiently meet client expectations, and maintain consistent employment through the agency.

What are some common challenges faced by part-time employees working in an agency setting?

Part-time employees in agency environments often face the challenge of managing fluctuating workloads, as client projects may have tight deadlines or require flexibility. Balancing multiple assignments with limited hours can make time management especially important. Additionally, part-timers may need to be proactive in communicating with full-time colleagues to stay updated on project changes and ensure seamless collaboration. This role is a fit for someone who is entrepreneurial, self-driven, and comfortable meeting with clients virtually. You’ll work with generated leads, guide clients through their options, and help families find coverage that fits their needs. For top performers, we offer a leadership development path with the opportunity to build and grow your own agency.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for people who are:

  • Goal-oriented: You set goals and follow through with consistent action.
  • Service-minded: You care about helping families and doing right by clients.
  • Hard-working: You understand that meaningful income and growth require effort.
  • High-integrity: You take professionalism, ethics, and trust seriously.
  • Leadership-minded: You have experience leading, coaching, managing, or building within a business development environment.
Requirements
  • Life and Health Insurance License, or willingness to obtain one
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with the motivation to succeed in a remote sales environment
  • Comfortable meeting with clients over Zoom or similar video platforms
  • Prior sales, leadership, management, or business ownership experience preferred
What We Offer
  • Remote full-time and part-time opportunities
  • Generated leads — no cold calling or door-to-door prospecting
  • Training, mentorship, and proprietary sales systems
  • Leadership development and agency ownership path for top performers
  • Health insurance benefits available
  • Performance-based incentives, including travel opportunities
  • Supportive team culture focused on growth, balance, and long-term success
  • This is a 1099, commission-only position.

As demand for life insurance and financial services continues to grow, Riverside Legacy Group is looking for the right people to help us serve more families across the country. Our hiring process is designed to determine mutual fit — because this opportunity is not for everyone, and we know you are evaluating us too.

We look forward to learning more about you.
