Activities Aide to join our team at our Springfield skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.
As an Activities Aide, you will play an important role in enhancing the quality of life of our residents by assisting with recreational programs, special events, social activities, and one-on-one interactions that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Part Time Schedule:
Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 2 PM-8 PM, Every Other Weekend 9 AM- 3 PM.

Responsibilities of Activities Aide
- Assist in planning, organizing, and conducting daily recreational and therapeutic activities
- Encourage resident participation in group and individual activities
- Help decorate and prepare activity areas for special events and holidays
- Escort residents to and from activities as needed
- Build positive relationships with residents and their families
- Document resident attendance and participation
- Assist with community outings and special programs
- Maintain activity supplies and equipment
- Ensure activities are conducted in a safe and engaging manner
Qualifications of Activities Aide
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in activities, recreation, customer service, childcare, senior living, healthcare, or a related field is a plus
- Friendly, outgoing, and compassionate personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong organizational skills
- Experience working with seniors is preferred but not required
