We are actively seeking experienced Automotive Parts Managers for current and future dealership opportunities. Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily operations of the dealership parts department.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal availability while maintaining inventory turn goals.
  • Lead, coach, and develop parts counter personnel, wholesale representatives, and support staff.
  • Maintain strong relationships with service, sales, collision, and wholesale customers.
  • Monitor department profitability, gross profit, obsolescence, and inventory performance.
  • Ensure timely ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of parts and accessories.
  • Analyze inventory reports and implement strategies to reduce aged inventory and improve turns.
  • Maintain manufacturer compliance and parts return programs.
  • Collaborate with service management to support technician productivity and department efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive parts management experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of dealership parts operations and inventory management.
  • Experience managing retail, wholesale, and service department parts sales.
  • Proven ability to improve department profitability and inventory performance.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with dealership management systems such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, Tekion, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of manufacturer parts programs and inventory controls.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Preferred Experience

Experience with domestic, import, luxury, hybrid, diesel, and EV brands is welcomed.
