POSITION SUMMARY: The Server creates memorable dining experiences that exceed guest expectations while delivering attentive, efficient service. As a key member of our front-of-house team, they guide guests through the menu and build the genuine connections that bring people back. They will be an avid MadTree ambassador who lives the behaviors Connect, Grow, and Give a F*ck.
LOCATION: Blue Ash, OH
STATUS: Part Time
REPORTS TO: Assistant General Manager
SHIFTS: Must have availability on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and weeknights.
COMPENSATION RANGE: $5.50 plus tips
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Monitor dining areas to greet and assist newly seated guests promptly.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders while providing menu guidance.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including allergens and dietary restrictions.
  • Deliver food and beverages efficiently across all service areas.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling.
  • Coordinate with other servers to ensure balanced coverage of all areas.
  • Support team members during peak periods regardless of service zone.
  • Monitor guest needs across all tables in the service area.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards through diligent pre-bussing, prompt clearing of dishes and glassware, meticulous surface cleaning, and consistent floor maintenance.
  • Execute opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Support special events and private functions as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff.
  • Maintain knowledge of daily features and menu changes.
  • Follow all food safety and alcohol service guidelines.
  • Participate in training and knowledge development programs.
  • Be ready and willing to help with other job-related duties and service tasks as needed.
  • Spend time volunteering (paid) for MadTree Impact initiatives with excitement, encouraging your teammates to do the same.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform essential duties, accountabilities, and responsibilities satisfactorily.   • 2+ years high-volume restaurant experience preferred
  • Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb.

  • Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms. Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
